Welcome to the official website of The Saxyderms!
The Saxyderms, formerly the Tufts University Saxophone Ensemble, is (to our knowledge) New England's largest saxophone ensemble. The 12-member, Boston-based group has been playing a diverse array of literature including orchestral and wind reductions, folk, patriotic, and pop since September 2006.
The mission of The Saxyderms is to spread the joy of music to as many people as possible, provide outreach and education to young musicians, and to further enrich the cultural and artistic heritage of Boston.

Concert Cycles
The Saxyderms traditionally perform 1 or 2 formal indoor concerts during the winter and spring seasons, a summer concert series in Boston Public Garden, and some pop-up performances at local events and fundraisers. Follow us on Facebook for the most up-to-date performance announcements!
