The Saxyderms, formerly the Tufts University Saxophone Ensemble, is (to our knowledge) New England's largest saxophone ensemble. The 12-member, Boston-based group has been playing a diverse array of literature including orchestral and wind reductions, folk, patriotic, and pop since September 2006.
The mission of The Saxyderms is to spread the joy of music to as many people as possible, provide outreach and education to young musicians, and to further enrich the cultural and artistic heritage of Boston.

The New England Saxophone Symposium, presented by The Saxyderms in collaboration with Southern New Hampshire University, aims to bring together saxophonists of all ages and skill levels for a day of saxophone learning, exploration, and performance. Special thanks to SNHU for hosting this event!
